Colors and colors and colors
Check this out. A large group of people were shown a myriad of colors and asked to give them names. The results were mapped out and grouped together into a sort of word-based color wheel. It’d be easier if you just went ahead and checked it out. My main reason for posting it is that I think it is interesting how one person’s idea of “mauve” may differ from another’s. Be sure to check out the “color label explorer” to narrow the field by specific terms.
